Flora Design Studios
Flora Design Studio is a floral boutique located in the heart of downtown Cedar Falls, inspired by generations of passion and creativity. The shop is a heartfelt continuation of a legacy started by my grandparents, Dick and Joanie Kerns, who ran the beloved Design Studio flower shop in Waterloo. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are from "working" alongside them—watering flowers, helping with deliveries, and soaking in their deep love for floristry.
Today, Flora Design Studio carries that spirit forward with a modern twist. Named in honor of their shop, our studio blends timeless floral traditions with fresh design, artistic flair, and a commitment to community. We offer fresh flowers, unique home décor, lush houseplants, and a variety of creative workshops and private group events—all curated to bring joy and beauty into everyday life.
