Thursday, October 8
GOLD & Bold Award Ceremony  /  11:45 a.m.
The UNI Alumni Association & Foundation will recognize three outstanding young alums as the 2026 GOLD & Bold Award winners. Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni are invited to hear their TED Talk-style presentations. 

Sesquicentennial Arts Showcase  /  7:30 p.m.
Honor the impact of UNI’s arts programs as we bring the sesquicentennial celebration to a close. Enjoy performances from the School of Music and TheatreUNI, including the debut of a new composition by emeritus professor Dr. Rebecca Burkhardt, created specially for the occasion. 

Friday, October 9
Golden Graduate Ceremony  /  3 - 4:30 p.m.
Celebrating the class of 1976! Light refreshments starting at 3 p.m. with the pinning ceremony for new Golden Graduate inductees at 3:45 p.m. Guest speaker: UNI President Mark Nook. To view more details and register for the full reunion, click here. Registration closes September 9. 

Homecoming Bash  /  5 - 9:30 p.m.
Take part in a family-friendly outdoor Homecoming festival and be part of the conclusion of the year-long UNI Sesquicentennial Celebration and celebrate the success of Our Tomorrow: The Campaign for UNI. Enjoy food trucks, inflatables, a pep rally, an outdoor concert featuring The Schmidt Brothers, and an aerial drone show -- a finale worthy of this anniversary. 

Saturday, October 10
Homecoming Parade  /  11 a.m.
Join us downtown Cedar Falls or register to walk in the parade with your future Panther and the UNI Alumni Association. See the parade route. 

Hy-Vee Fan Zone  /  1 - 3:30 p.m
Stop by the West UNI-Dome parking lot for games, trivia, and free food, while supplies last.   

Football v. North Dakota  /  4 p.m.
