Alumni Club Committees
Seven alumni clubs around the country host events and activities to build Panther pride in their communities and reconnect alumni with UNI.

UNI Alumni Association Board of Directors
The UNI Alumni Association is advised by a volunteer board of at least 25 alumni who represent a diverse cross section of our alumni population. The board meets twice a year on campus and various committees meet on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis.

Iowa State Fair
Represent UNI at the Iowa State Fair! More than 150 volunteers are needed to help staff the UNI booth and greet prospective student families, alumni and friends. Recruitment begins in April and the fair takes place in mid-August.

Panther Caucus
Get involved with the legislative process and help advocate for UNI at the state house.

Panther Promoters
We need your help to share awesome Panther stories and show off our university on social media. Throughout the year, Panther Promoters play an important role in major events such as Homecoming, Panther Push Day, UNI Day at the Capitol, new UNI Magazine content, our annual Day of Giving (#LivePurpleGiveGold) and more! Panther Promoters receive communications with suggested social media posts containing UNI news, accomplishments and stories and can tailor posts to their networks.

UNI Center for Urban Education (UNI-CUE)
The UNI Center for Urban Education is always looking for great volunteers to tutor students and help with community events. UNI-CUE accepts college students, high school students, faculty, staff and retirees as volunteer tutors.

Gallagher Bluedorn Usher
Volunteers serve as ushers for most GBPAC performances. Ushers are assigned anywhere from 2-10 events a month depending on interest, availability and need. A majority of the events are nights and weekends. Volunteers should be comfortable navigating stairs and standing for longer periods of time.

Tallgrass Prairie Center
Be part of the Tallgrass Prairie Center's mission and activities as a volunteer in assisting with seminars, field trips, conferences, newsletter distribution and other educational opportunities provided by the TPC. Weekly weeding opportunities in TPC native seed production plots are available in the spring and summer.

TheatreUNI
Do you enjoy building, painting, drawing or sewing? TheatreUNI is always looking for help with costumes and building sets for their productions. They are also recruiting ushers to assist with each performance.

UNIBusiness Mentor
Mentoring is a great way to give back to your alma mater. The time spent with students will help develop their confidence and increase their likelihood of success.
