What is the UNI Traditions Challenge?
UNI traditions are the heartbeat of Panther pride. They connect generations of students, alumni, and friends through shared experiences that make UNI unforgettable. The UNI Traditions Challenge invites you to celebrate your UNI story, relive favorite memories and create new ones, all while helping keep our traditions alive for future Panthers. The traditions list is a guide to the quintessential Panther experience. Share your photos to complete UNI traditions and receive recognition for your Panther pride.
How it works:
- Complete items on the Alumni & Friends Traditions List
- Download a copy of the Alumni & Friends Traditions Challenge
- Take pictures while attending events and participating in the UNI experience
- Add a photo to your Traditions Challenge for each tradition on the corresponding slide
- Email alumni@uni.edu to turn in your traditions (make sure to attach your completed presentation)!
Recognition as an Official Traditions Keeper
Complete the required number of traditions to receive your choice of Official Traditions Keeper medallion, lapel pin, playing cards or keychain. Official Traditions Keepers will also be invited to a future Traditions Keeper Ceremony and recognized on social media.
Alumni - 40 traditions
Friends - 35 traditions
Future Students - 20 traditions
Since launching, more than 1,400 students have completed the UNI Traditions Challenge and earned the title of Official Traditions Keeper. Join them and celebrate your UNI legacy through the traditions that connect us all.
