Marching Band Alumni Weekend

Panther Marching Band alumni are invited to attend a fun weekend of events during Homecoming! Alumni are invited to perform on the field during pregame and can choose to march on-field or play from the sideline. 

Don't forget to:

  • Indicate your instrument in the comments section when you register.
  • Download music if you will be playing with the marching band. 

Friday

Our Tomorrow Celebration and Concert  /  5:30 to 9 p.m.
Join us for the launch of Our Tomorrow, UNI's biggest, boldest fundraising campaign yet! Grab some great food from the food trucks, mingle in the beer and wine garden, watch the casting of new bells for the Campanile's carillon and enjoy a free concert on the Campanile plaza.

Saturday

Homecoming Parade  /  10 a.m. 
Join fellow alumni for this favorite UNI tradition in downtown Cedar Falls! The parade will take place on Main Street between 9th and 2nd Streets.

Alumni Band Rehearsal with the PMB  /  1 p.m.  / UNI-Dome
Those not performing with the alumni band are welcome to watch our rehearsal from the East stands. 

PMB Lunch  / 2 p.m.  / Wellness & Recreation Center gymnasiums
Join fellow alumni and current band members for lunch. The cost is $5 per person; pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

Pre-Game Show with the PMB  /  Approximately 3:30 p.m.
Report to the sidelines for the on-field performance and download music ahead of time. Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues, we are unable to order alumni t-shirts. If you do not already have one, please wear purple!

UNI Football vs. Illinois State  /  4 p.m.  /  UNI-Dome
Game tickets available for purchase for $11 each when you register for the alumni weekend. Registration required no later than September 21, or while supplies last. Tickets can be picked up at Will Call on game day.
